I think it's safe to say that we've all been thinking more about public health and stopping the

spread of viruses over the last few weeks. The need for social distancing right now is high. This

help us to to protect each other (especially those who are elder, immune compromised, or have

other health conditions that make them more vulnerable) from rapid virus spread, and helps to

avoid overwhelming our health system.

A: My name is Tyan, I'm here from Oakland. Currently I am homeless. How I ended up here, it's a long story. I got drunk one night, and I never went back home. That's cutting to the chase right there. And I tell everybody, alcohol is a gateway to everything else out here. Weed is a gateway to everything else out here. I have a child, 13 years old, I miss dearly. I'm not doing anything to help her right now. I feel terrible.

On February 25th, the year 2006, I lost my 16-year-old son due to gunfire. After that it spiraled downhill. I went rom alcohol to perscription drugs. From there, I had an A1 dissection heart surgery. I lost my husband five months ago. Thirty-five years I was with him. His sister sold the house out from underneath me, and I was one the streets. And as of tomorrow, BART is putting us out. So I have no place to go and no money.

But for a moment I felt like I was in the clouds, because there were people buying my tamales, and I needed the money.
